FIRST, BEREA COLLEGE, IN KEEPING WITH ITS INCLUSIVE HISTORY, WELCOMES ALL PEOPLE.
With that said, CCDS is an adult camp, with participants being aged 12 and up, and many, though not all, of the activities require a certain amount of mobility. All buildings are handicap accessible, though not always conveniently.

BEREA COLLEGE IS A NO-SMOKING TOBACCO FREE CAMPUS. CAMPUS SAFETY is a priority at CCDS. Reports and policies regarding campus safety may be found at Campus Policies – Berea College.
Emergency.
In event of an emergency dial 3333 from a campus phone for Berea College Public Safety or dial 911 from your phone or an outside line for emergency response.
NO FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS, INCLUDING THE SEABURY CENTER.
BUILDING.
Because CCDS is held in the depth of winter, severe weather including snow and ice is always a possibility. Public Safety officers and Facilities Management workers work hard to keep the campus free of ice and snow, but participants must also accept some responsibility for safety around campus.
We are very fortunate to have the use of the Seabury Center at Berea College. Please respect it and take good care of it so that we may continue to dance here for many years to come. Treat equipment and facilities with care, and keep doors and windows closed. SHOES. Please take care of the wooden floors. Keep a pair of shoes exclusively for dancing. Do not wear them outside, and be sure that the soles are clean before you enter a dance room. Feet must be covered. Barefoot dancing is not allowed either in classes or at the evening dances.
Name Badges.
NAME BADGES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES! The badges identify you as a paid registrant or Christmas School staff. LOST BUTTONS WILL BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $25.
Parking
PARKING is allowed on campus, but only in designated places, and participant vehicles must display parking tags, which are provided at registration.
Sales
NO MERCHANDISE OR SERVICES may be sold in Christmas Country Dance School facilities other than through the Berea CCDS Store in a Racquetball Court.
